- Shave the area about 24 hours before.
- No waxing, plucking or threading for 6 weeks. Shaving is fine.
- No sun, tanning beds or self-tanner for 2 weeks.
- Come with clean skin: no lotion, deodorant or makeup on the area.
2After your visit
- Redness or small bumps fade within hours to a day.
- Use SPF 30+ every day and stay out of strong sun for 1 to 2 weeks.
- Skip hot tubs, saunas and hard workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
- Treated hairs shed over 1 to 3 weeks. Don’t pluck them.

What happens at the free consultation?
We check your skin type and hair, do a test spot on the Clarity II and plan your sessions. Shave the area 24 hours before. We hold a card to book, and a no-show is $50.
Does it hurt?
The Clarity II cools the skin with every pulse. Most people compare it to a rubber band snap. Sessions take 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the area.
Is it safe for dark skin?
Yes. The Clarity II has two lasers: 755nm Alexandrite for lighter skin and 1064nm Nd:YAG for deeper skin. Your test spot shows us which settings suit you.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 6 to 8. Body areas are spaced 6 to 10 weeks apart, and the face every 4 to 5 weeks. That’s why our laser packages are built around 6 sessions.
Is it permanent?
Laser gives permanent hair reduction: far less hair after a full series. Hormones, like with PCOS, can call for occasional touch-ups.
How much is my area?
Upper lip or chin $49, underarms $79, chin and neck $79, Brazilian $279, full face $299, full back $299, full legs $299. Prices are per session. Text us any other area for a quote.
Package or membership: which saves more?
For one or two areas, a package: 6 underarm sessions are $269, and 6 underarms + 6 Brazilian are $999. If you want a large area every month, the Laser Membership is $259/mo for one large area such as full legs or full back, with a 3-month minimum.
Does it work on blonde, red or gray hair?
Usually not. The laser finds the pigment in the hair, so white, gray, red and very light blonde hair don’t respond well. We check this at your free test spot before you pay for anything.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes, and please do. Shaving is the only hair removal to use between sessions. Waxing, plucking and threading pull out the root the laser needs to find.
Do you treat men’s backs?
Yes. The Back & Shoulders package is 6 full-back sessions with the shoulders included, for $999. Men also treat the chest, neck and beard line for razor bumps.
Can I start laser in a Texas summer?
Yes. Tell us if you’ve been in the sun. A fresh tan can mean we adjust the settings or move your session a couple of weeks, and you’ll need SPF on treated skin between visits.
